A broad attachment range covering most excavator-based forestry and vegetation tasks from 1.5-tonne mini excavators through to 35-tonne carriers. Distributed in Australia by Randalls.
OMEF covers most of what an excavator-based forestry or vegetation contractor needs: tree shears, stump shears, forestry pruners, mulchers, grapple saws and stump planers, spanning carriers from 1.5-tonne mini excavators to 35-tonne machines.
The commercial logic is attachment-based flexibility. A land-clearing business running a 20-30 tonne excavator can cover felling, grappling, pruning, stump removal and mulching from one carrier, generating revenue across civil earthworks, demolition, vegetation clearing, log handling, tree removal, stump removal, road construction and drainage. That spread substantially reduces asset concentration risk.
The Big Inch shear range illustrates how wide the category really is — from 140 kg units for 1.5-3 tonne carriers to 2,400 kg heads requiring 250-300 L/min on 30-tonne-plus machines. Those extremes are genuinely different machines, and comparing them on maximum cut diameter alone tells a buyer very little.
